The Relentless Pursuit…

If you’ve not already watched this video, then watch it NOW and really listen to the words, maybe you should play it a few times to really get what the boy is saying………………Ok……..now that you’ve watched it I want to talk of how sobering it is………..we are teaching our kids all the time, whether good or bad…..they are watching!  Wow!  Just tonight I had to apologize to Brooke for arguing/fighting with her about something very stupid…………..I didn’t just apologize b/c I was wrong, but also b/c my kids see how I treat my wife, and everyone else…..I want them to see a good example. 
Anyhow….the statement that knocked me on my butt the most in this video was when the boy said he was watching to see if his dad really believed what he said about God……….was this “God” real, or just lip-service……….AAAGGGHHHHHHH!  That shakes me to the core b/c  the problem with the “lost” generation we have of young people is that most of the people (parents) that preceded them worship God with their lips, but their hearts were far from Him!!!  Let it not be me, let it not be us!  There really is a God, a Father worth living for and dying for….We really can do the things that the Word of God says we can do b/c He is faithful to perform His word in our lives!  That is why!  God forbid it be some joke to our kids b/c they are watching to see if we really live what we preach!  GOD, HELP ME TO LIVE EVERYTHING I PREACH!!

Early Sunday morning, November 2nd,  at 12:22 am Ezekiel James Plummer came into this world, and not without a lot of work from Momma!  God Bless all the women that go through child birth…..I just continue thanking God I was born a man!  No offense, of course, I just don’t think I could handle it!  I’ve had the privelege of being a part of all 3 of my children’s births, and it’s been amazing every time.  The miracle of life is phenominal!  Even the nurse said that as much as she works in the maternity ward, she is still amazed by the miracle of life…God truly is awesome, and we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”  It’s just now begining to set in that I have 3 kids!  Yep, THREE! 

If you’re not familiar with the name “Ezekiel”….he was a major old testament prophet.  His name means “God is strong.”  By leading of the Lord, this is our sons name, and we’ll see as time passes how right on the name fits.? 

So now momma and baby are doing good, and with this milestone behind us, it’s time to focus on the next big step God has for us:  back to “Destination Thailand.”  Keep checking back periodically for more blogs and updates on this journey!
