  • Praise God that the water well at Faith Village has been completed! On behalf of my family, and the Faith Village Family in Thailand we THANK each and every person that gave of their hard earned money, and their precious time in prayer to help see this project through to completion! No longer will there be a shortage of water in a time of drought, BUT “water for life” will flow freely to the people of Faith Village, and to all who would come for both kinds of water. :)
    Once again….THANK YOU!!!

  • Hello Friends.  Again, I apologize for my inconsistent post……..moving right along. :)  The Water well at Faith Village is well on it’s way to being completed.  They hit water at 75 meters, and have now constructed the water tower.  Frist, we want to Praise God for HIs faithfulness in providing the means to dig the well, and we thank all of you who gave toward this project.

Currently I am getting ready to take a group of 30 men to the Men’s Ramp conference in Alabama.  We are again excited about the changed lives that come from this weekend we have together.

I’m also looking forward to our return trip to Thailand in June.  A lot of things are going on, and I’ll update that soon on our e-newsletter complete with lots of pictures!

    God Bless,         Rick

  • Hey Folks.  It’s been a while since I’ve updated our website……so I’ll give you a quick rundown…..

Everyday we see a new facet of God’s hand upon our lives, and we are ever thankful for that.

Joy is 4 months old now, and doing great!  Ezekiel turned 2 at the beginning of November, and the rest of the family is doing great as well.  We spent a week in TX for Thanksgiving and my Grandmother’s 80th birthday.  We had a lot of travel (2,500 miles), BUT it was well worth it!

We’re glad to be back home, and currently we are enduring a blizzard…..thank God for a warm home.   :)

In November we took 13 men to the RAMP men’s conference, and we’ve seen some tremendous change and fruit from that weekend….praise God!  We are looking forward to a great year in 2011, and we look forward to several great things in the planning…..one being a return trip to Thailand in June.  Anyhow, I’ll keep you better updated as the year progresses, so stay tuned.

Also…..for the title of the blog…we raised all the money we needed to dig the well at Faith Village!  God is Faithful!  The should start drilling sometime this month.  Thank you to all who contributed to help make this happen.

    God Bless,

    Rick

  • Hello to whomever is reading this post….It’s Saturday March 6th here in Chiang Mai Thailand, and  we are about 2 weeks out from our departure back home.  I never thought a year ago when I was posting about our departure TO Thailand, that I would be writing this post a year later.  It’s amazing how things change.  I can honestly say that I am OK with the direction we’re going in.  I did think we would live in Thailand forever, or atleastlonger than 1 year, BUT I’m not God, and in my ignorance I made statements that are out of my control.  I’m learning to shut my mouth more. :)

Anyhow, it is exciting to go back home, yet scarry in a way b/c there are so many unknowns waiting for us when we get there (and that’s only 2 weeks away!)  The reality of Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t depend on your own understanding” is staring me in the face write now.  I don’t have all the answers, in fact I have very few, BUT I know who I’m following, and that’s what counts most.

You can click here to see our latest update and a lot of pics.  Keep in touch and may God bless you wherever you are.
